Clean comfortable accommodation and freshly prepared food
On arrival the children will be welcomed by the Grange Hall staff, shown to their rooms and given a full introduction to the centre. This will cover boundaries, meeting point, staff accommodation, play areas, activity programmes, what to wear, meeting times and notice boards.
Grange Hall will operate a full fire drill prior to our customers first nights stay.
We encourage children to leave at home expensive and technical items as they may get lost or damaged giving them the opportunity to focus on an amazing outdoor experience. Teddies and comforters are always welcome.
The children will be roomed in friendship groups of between 2-8 as arranged by the leaders/teachers of the school.
All bedding is provided.
Catering at Grange Hall
On arrival day the first meal is the evening meal unless pre-arranged.
Modern dietary needs are changing and Grange Hall is responding to this by making our menu friendly for all. Whether you have a medical allergy or intolerance or are simply changing lifestyle to gluten free, halal, vegetarian or vegan we will offer a balanced and healthy choice for you. We can cater for most dietary requirements if we have sufficient prior information.
Breakfast
Includes four hot items:
- Bacon or Sausage
- Baked Beans or Tinned Tomatoes
- Fried Bread, Hash browns or Fried Potatoes
- Scrambled or Fried Eggs
Accompanied by:
- A selection of Kellogg’s cereals including Rice Krispies, Frosties and Cornflakes
- Fresh Toast with Preserves
- A Variety of Healthy Fruit Yogurts
Lunch
A selection of freshly made Sandwiches (Gluten Free/Vegan options are available with advanced notice) accompanied by Crisps, Chocolate, Biscuits and Fresh Fruit.
Packed Lunches
Packed lunches can be arranged to take with you or available on site prior to departure. A selection of Sandwiches, Crisps, Biscuits or Chocolate, Apples and Squash.

- Traditional Bolognese
- Hot dogs & fried onions
- Ratatouille- Chargrilled Aubergine, Courgette, Carrots, Peppers, Onion, cooked in a tomato sauce (Vegan & Gluten Free)
Served with: Chips, Pasta, Baby Potatoes, Sweetcorn
Dessert: Apple Pie with or without Custard, Choc Ice or Ice Lolly
TUESDAY
- Beef Chilli Con Carne
- Breaded Cod Fish Fingers
- Three Bean & Vegetable Chilli (Vegan & Gluten Free)
Served With; Chips, Rice, Jacket Potato, Peas
Dessert: Fruits Cocktails, Choc Ice or Ice Lolly
WEDNESDAY
- Chicken Tikka Masala Curry
- Sausage and Tomato Casserole
- Chargrilled Seasonal Vegetables Casserole, (Vegan & Gluten Free)
Served With: Chips, Rice, Carrots, Roasted Garlic and Herb Potatoes
Dessert: Rice Pudding, Choc Ice or Ice lolly
THURSDAY
- Traditional Beef Lasagne
- Margherita Pizza
- Summer Stew- Summery tomato-based stew, packed with seasonal vegetables. (Vegan and Gluten Free)
Served With: Chips, Rice, Sweet Potatoes, Peas and Sweetcorn
Dessert: Swiss Roll, Choc Ice or Ice Lolly
To accompany all evening meals at dinner time we also have a varied salad bar consisting of Carrots with Raisins, Chopped Cucumber and Tomato, Boiled Eggs, Cheese, Coleslaw, Iceberg Lettuce.
